We’ve got a busy day today, so here’s a bunch of stuff to keep you from doing whatever it is you’re supposed to be doing.
- Stank at College Football Report has a good rundown of the Boise State beatdown of Oklahoma last night in the Fiesta Bowl.
- S at LSUnpredictable has something on former LSU running back Domanick Davis changing his name. Hell, we’d be embarrassed to play for that team too, dude, but this seems a bit harsh.
- We weren’t the only ones who thought the Rose Bowl was little more than an infomercial for Pete Carroll and USC.
- Blue-Grey Sky, an outstanding Notre Dame blog, and frankly one of the best written sports blogs for any team, has a top-notch LSU vs Notre Dame Sugar Bowl matchup analysis. Long, but definitely worth it.
- This isn’t new, but in case you missed it last week, LSU blog And The Valley Shook and Notre Dame blog Her Loyal Sons interviewed each other and posted the results on their respective sites.
- Kevin at Fanblogs.com has a good roundup of ongoing college football coaching dramas. He notes that fired Arizona State coach Dirk Koetter is the prime candidate to be Randy Shannon’s OC at Miami. We were kinda hoping he’d get strong consideration here, what with Jimbo all but certain to bail out, but we haven’t heard his name much.
- Darrent Williams, the Denver Broncos player who was fatally shot Monday, played for Les Miles at Oklahoma State.
More later if we have time, or if anything major breaks on the Nick Saban to Alabama circus.
