It’s that time of year, boys and girls, and dammit, we’re glad. Seriously: is there anything –ANYTHING– more comical than listening to the whining on the Baton Rouge sports radio call-in shows in the days after a ticket price increase is announced? Does anything induce fits of hysterical laughter quite like reading the incoherent, logically empty pissing and moaning on the message boards? Nay, dear reader, there isn’t. (No, not even our photoshops of Les Miles in silly hats, but thanks for thinking of us.)
Under the current proposal, tickets will go up $4 to $9 per game, depending on the opponent. There will be some increases in “donations” and some new “donations” required for parking passes and motor home passes.

they pay more than us at bama, florida, and tennessee for sure. don’t know about the other sec schools. i’d guess georgia is probably more, and possibly even ole miss, but i dont have anything to back that up.
lsu fans are convinced they are “owed” tickets they can afford. to hell with all that supply and demand nonsense, or the fact that football tickets are an unnecessary entertainment expenditure. i guess “the working class guy” is entitled to a mercedes at a price he can afford as well.

i knew after the past successful season that it was just a matter of time for a ticket price hike. it won’t stop me from going to the games, though.
